yeah if only you lived closer i could get you Hundreds of tadpoles and dozens of adults and Juvies theres a golf course thats built into my neiborhood thats has a few ponds on it in different places all are stuffed with bull frogs only other thing in there are minnows and grass carp nothin to eat them except birds so there multipliying like crazy i'm thinking of throwing in a few LMBs and mabye some sun fish and haveing a nice local pond to fish at but i think that may be illegal plus i don't know if my HOA would go for that idea

pixie frogs have differen't care requirement then bull frogs just so you know but there still cool frogs and are pretty eazy to care for

Are Lithobates catesbeiana legal to own in California? I though they weren't native there?

i'm not sure what the law is regarding keepingthem as pets, but i have seen tadpoles for sale at some of the LFS. there are lots of bull frogs around here, they are the only frog that has no limit on how many you can take.

ive checked with the lfs and on kingsnake, the endangered bullfrog! not to be found anywhere. from what im getting from research, tads may take up to 1-3 years to change. let me know if thats wrong please

check your local asian supermarket, all the ones ive been to in sac sell live bullfrogs for $3 a pound

there invasive in Cal, so i guess if u looked in the wild u would find them

they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo easy to keep, but right now

ive raised toad, bullfrog and leopard frog tadpoles too

i kept one of the bullfrogs for about a month and released it
