I'd remove the Jack an try some Congos. If they get eaten by the polys I would buy some more to grow out. Then late remove the larger poly species to a larger tank. But- just my opinion on what I would do.

Lets have some photos of the tank and residents so far?
Actually not currently at home, I am in school. Should be working on my ochem lab..ughh. So I can't get pics of the setup. Tank members of the 90 currently are greenflash pleco(has never touched a poly.) just sucks on driftwood. Senegal, Delhezi, 2 Ornates. I do have a synodonis angelicus I could move in there with time, but he is kind of small still. Polys are all pretty big none under 7''. I sold a festae, she was fine for the longest time, but I guess she turned into a terror after all. rjk has her now. I have always had problems figuring out a nice stocking list for this tank. I would like to have a congo river, prehistoric fish look with the polys. I like the african knife idea beblondie had. That would work, if I could get it off feeders.( I hate feeders) I only have fish that can get on flake and pellets. For convence factors.

An adult ornate will eat adult congos. I tried keeping congo tetras (3" ones) in a 120g 4'x2' with some 6-10" polys, and the senegalus, palmas polli, and delhezi were actively chasing the congos around the tank nipping at them, trying to eat them.

I also once had a 10" endli catch and devour a fast swimming agile lemon fin barb.

If you want long term success, you really do need to look out for larger fish, or a muuuuuch larger tank.

I loved the combo of super red severums with my polys. I had a bright colorful fish to watch, and also my beloved polypterids.

Right now I'm trying archer fish with great success. If you can find nice ones, some archers are very yellow and beautiful.

I know my mix doesn't fit a specific biotope as I would like, but I love my global community. World peace man lol

I may not have to add anything! All my polys are swimming around more since the festae left. At first it was very boring, but I guess if you take out cichlids they have new found confidence!:)
I do like biotope tanks. Maybe poly only with a synodonis,
and an invasive Green flash pleco!:D He can stay, I like him in there.
