Alright Iam looking for a type of floating plant for my tank.

Iam after the biggest type as it will stop my fish eating them, The tank I want the plants for holds a pair of Thorichthys Meeki and some swordtail's.

So any Ideas, I prefer it to be easy to keep and grow but any are considered.

BTW-No CO2.....

Cheers Dave

Hornwort can be grown floating but it is ugly that way.

Same with Anarchis, but hornwort tastes worse.

I had a look at them thanks, I had a look around reckon Pennywort, Greater Duckweed and Riccia fluitans would work?

Riccia probably wont do too well under low light- and it does like CO2-though I have grown it without, many people fail.

Why you want a floating plant, will determine which suits you best.

Ok thanks, ile scratch Riccia off, Iam wanting a floating plant because hopefully some of the livebearers will survive hiding in the roots, also because it looks good.
