These are rarely seen but not exceedingly rare. I can't say I've seen any for sale recently though.

You might want to check out the Marketplace forum and do a search on paroon and/or make a post there too. Also look at the current stock lists from vendors in the Vendor section in the Marketplace.

Check out Aquabid and EBay too.

Check with the vendors Ichiban Tropical Fish.Monster Aquarium in New York may have some too.I am not sure where you are located but those are about your best bets on the east coast.

They have become 1000x more available within the last 2-3 years. You can find them through online vendors, including many represented here in the Marketplace section.

You need to know how to tell true piraiba aka filamentosum from false piraiba aka capa or capapretum.
