looking for a Port Jackson Shark

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nurse will not last for life in 2500gal . btw that nurse is a cutie too bad its been cramped in that tank for years on and off

Yeah, I agree- my thinking was that 2500G is a whole lot better than the ~150G it's currently in. I feel bad for that poor fella. He is a good looking shark.

I go to 6 th ave when i have time to go to the city ( 40 miles away ) seen the nurse shark they have , it is big already... would eat every thing in my tank .

@ Aldiaz33 thank for the temp info

I think you meant to thank ZooDiver; he's the resident shark expert...I don't know anything about PJs. I'm just trying to find a bigger home for that Nurse. :D

A good alternative to a PJ would be the California Horn Shark. They seem to be more tolerate of warmer water temperatures than PJs are. Cali Horns seem to prefer water temps in the mid 60's to mid 70's range.

yes the horn shark is a nice shark, that is what i am replacing, had to give it up becouse it got big and would hasole all the fish at eating time that some of them started not to eat, after he was gone all ny fish are eating again.

did you already get rid of the horn ? i would guess by your words but i figure id ask anyway since i know a place in need of one locally to you
