i have a 4 incher in a 60 right now. had it for about a month. seems to grow really slow but sure is active when i drop in feeders. many people here said they need lots of room to swim in as they are skittish. i havent had problems with mines but i think in the long run, it might commit suicide from head on with the glass. many owners here advice you to house these fishes in a bigger tank so im experimenting and i doubt it will outgrow in this little tank. i paid 110 for mines located in so cal

imo you like active and aggressive and want one big fish... oscar... great wet pets, and a good foot into the world of higher needs fishs... oscars well taken care of are also beautiful fish.

oscars get too inactive when older and boring. aggressive? i dont care too much about that more of it being active and predator but i see old oscars sitting and hiding always on youtube
