looking for a top level swimmer.

My experience with gars and dats hasn't been that good. I've had various gars kill 3 silvers dats and 1 indo. I found the gars to be especially aggressive towards the silvers dats, having same length florida gars kill silvers.

^lol yea thats a no for sure then. I'll most likely just pick up a florida gar then. I was trying to find something different that would work with the dats and rays but oh well.

Gars really aren't "top-level swimmers." They really only surface occasionally to get air; other than that, they mostly just hang out toward the middle.

btw, this is off topic and random, but I have an uncle who lives in Mt. Sterling.

I had a black aro until a week ago and it grew much slower than the silver I had before that. Either way a 150 is too small for to keep it for life but the same is true for rays or florida gars which need quite a bit of space to just turn around.

I always thought they were more towards the top but in that case I'll still keep looking, especially after the posts about aggression towards dats, I'd much rather keep the dats.

That's pretty cool, were are you located.
