Looking for Alligator Gar!

Well I want small because I don't have tons of room. Right now the biggest tank I have is a 120. That will hopefully change soon though because I definitely plan on getting something bigger.

It would do OK, but I think the question should be:

How would an ATF do with a gator gar?

the answer would be. NOT SO GOOD. Unless u have a Monster Size ATF

Everyone keeps telling me to go catch one but the closest place that alligator gar live is the Red River, and that's a long ways away. Plus I want a baby one! I can catch longnose gar nearby, however small ones are hard to catch so I broke down and ordered 4 in the 5-6'' range. I want a small alligator gar again!

are they difficult to catch? im pretty much right on the red river, not much of a fisherman though, unless its out in the ocean.
