Yeah I agree, Not too many people would pass up on a black arowana, atleast he knows his responsibilities:popcorn: and its seriously very nice to know that there are still nice people in the world :D
I have a juvenile red oscar but I live halfway across the world so I guess you'll pass rofl

That is why this is such a waste of time. Does anyone know what he wants? I see many threads asking for specific things. HOB filters, green terrors, light fixtures. Had he asked for what he wants or needs he might have found it already. Meanwhile nice MFKers are offering him things he doesn't want or need. Comprehension indeed is the key, LOOKING for something is for the purpose of TAKING or else what was the purpose of this thread. Meanwhile he has obtained absolutely nothing and people will tire of offering him anything. Some have even taken back even contemplating offering him anything and decided just to keep his offerings in his garage. Anyway this is the last time I am looking at this thread, but I do wish to thank all the good people on MFK. There are still kind people willing to help out fellow fishkeepers. Thanks guys and gals.

:D At least, giving him some credit for being very responsible on what he's going to take. He even took a pass on a black arowana, with a thought that he can't house it properly in his 100-gal. Not so many people do it. Good luck to the OP and every generous ones, who's looking to rehome his/her stuff. :)

Very good point, some would just irresponsibly jump on taking a fish just because it's free. Not having the forethought on whether or not they could actually care for the fish.

How about LOOKING first to decide if you want or need it. Same principal as if you were going to buy something :duh: don't you have to look first?

What kind of idiot would actually take something they didn't want or need? Are you such a person? No? then why should the OP not be the same?

at least it's nice to see a community of hobbyist wanting to help out even if the guy is picky. good luck on your quest

From someone who is complaining about wasting so much time needs to quit replying. He said he is looking for stuff not taking everything and having a mass pile up of stuff he wont use? He didnt say "nah forget you i dont want that!". And as for the "looking" thing, when someone posts, looking to buy a car for 10k, doesnt mean they will buy your car. They have to "LOOK" at it first.

Why dont you post exactly what your looking for so people dont waste their time trying to help stock your tank for FREE...You want free stuff from people but are picky about what you get for FREE. The title of your thread says"FREE Looking for ANY free fish, supplies, tanks, etc.":screwy: please figure out what you want and then post a thread.:irked: I told you in my pm i had lots of supplies i could get rid of, just to get it out of my fishroom/garage and help a fellow Michigander, pffft i'll just keep it. GL on the free stuff...

Got any lights, or lids for 135g(6'x18") and 75g? working on my fish room, and those are main things i'm missing. and any free 75g tanks, just the tank?
