My Supervisor asked me to look around for any suppliers and I have never looked at the word before and assumed it was a k not a c
Im also not sure whether I can spell has anything to do with my ability to keep fish

It is my profession so yes I think I can handle it

Hold on, who is going to take care of it. You or your researcher?

Sorry I mean supervisor.:banhim:

There are quite a lot of people who come on here asking how to care for these huge fish only to find out after serious answers that their legs are getting pulled by a teenager with pie in the sky dreams.

It's not hostility per say.

Why don't you try give a little bit more information regarding what you plan to do with them, how many you want ( and as many as you can get is as relevent as I need a length of rope ), where you are based, what size accomodation is being provided.

A more informative approach often yields more imformative responsive.

Good luck and just my two cents.

I am working for a university aquaculture research facility we have a flow through system and we have high profile fiberglass 8ft diameter tanks everything in our wet lab is movable and customizable. I am looking for 30- 60 Black Pacu depending on cost of fish and transport. I am also not looking for advice on how to care for these fish just someone who would be able to help me acquire them. thanks cockroach for the helpful answer and Funny enough your posting level makes you a Pacu. :-)

Just pets in appleton WI had some last time I was there, its a ways away from you, but if you need to get one they probably have some yet.

It's a pleasure helping out.

These 8' diameter tanks. Are they round? As there is no stated length. What is the height of the containers?

If they are 8' diameter round, I don't see them holding more than 10-14 full size blacks.

What will you guys be researching?

Happy New year to ALL!!
