Contact Mike at H20 http://www.h20customaquatics.webs.com/home.html

I'm not quoting prices for Mike, but in general today you can expect:

$1800 for basic BD/nice Leo
$2000 for a good BD
$2500 for a pretty nice BD
$3500+ for outstanding specimens

Quality/price is generally based on sex, size, amount of spots, size of spots, qty/size of spots around the edge, belly spotting, whiteness of spots, eyes, and captive bred vs. wild caught.

What's more desireable? Captive born or wild? In the herp world CB always commands a higher price over a wild specimen, however I've heard from several hobbyist that wild rays are more desireable.

That's what I thought too.. CB guarantees perfection and parasite free animals!

You get what you pay for.

I'd be carefull of BDs under $2K.

Send Mike your $5K and be done with it.

Post pics when you get them..... Not many people here huck that kinda $ at a single pair of rays.

I only ever want C/b, it helps keep the breeders going, preserves the wild and gives parasite free Rays.

Think how many Retics die to get one to old age in the Aquarium.

I used to be in the trade for Fish and Reptiles and I hate how many used to die.
