looking for fish with big teeth and attitude

I live in the uk and my friend has a Wolf fish in an oddball community tank. Lets jus say you need to keep them well fed and no other top swimmers...

Males seem to be more territorial than females, It's just the males look much better than the females.

do the wolffish or the exodons. you could do a tat or scomb payara. they are just not as aggresive as the armatus. i would not go with any gar that is just too small of a tank. the wolf is probably your best bet

Scomb's die before 12", Tat's can reach 15", Armatus are known to hit 2.5 ft to 3 ft.

Oh and red wolves will max at 6"

Red Wolf should be fine, Once again must have a cave tho! This tank sounds awesome can't wait to see it finished and stocked!

thanks bro im just waiting to get my dads help cuz the stands in ****y condition and ima re paint it and everything. i hope the wolfs gona be ok cuz again its a 6 inch fish with a gar and a payara... maybe not the best choice lol

Yeah, After you have kept Scomb's then you go to the cooler Payara such as Tat's and Armatus you can see how much more aggressive the Tat's and Armatus are compared to stupid Scomb's, And I forgot you were getting a Florida Gar as well, I kept one before in my 55g for awhile he was about 11" and was not that aggressive but smaller fish he would try to gobble down such as my 6" Jack Dempsey which was the same exact size as a full grown Red Wolf so now when you think about it just get a 30g and put a single Red Wolf in it, That is an awesome set up right there.
