I'm new to the forum. I've had a planted community tank for the last 15 years but didn't graduate to anything specific until about 18 months ago. I commissioned a 120 gallon acrylic that I integrated into the head of my son's bed. It was a very sweet brackish set up - white sand, a gorgeous piece of driftwood about 4' long, 2 shark catfish, 1 Dat, 4 scats, 4 monos and 2 fid crabs. Net net, the tank springs a leak and $5k later, I've got a brackish 55 gallon with 1 Malawi crab (shell about 3" across), my Dat (now 7"), 2 silver scats (6" and 7"), 2 red scats (2.5"), 2 8" shark catfish and 2 4" monos. I am worried about my silver Scats. Please review my post, forum "freshwater diseases, "scat - Bacteia?" and let me know if you have any suggestions.
