So now that my polleni has passed away, im starting to really think about how to re-setup the tank as a planted tank...

I have some solid ideas of how i may setup certain parts / areas, but just want to see some more photos of any planted tanks that people here may have come across that made you go wow...

Tank is a 60G although photos of size tank is fine, just looking for more ideas really...

Thanks for the reply, in all honesty, don't worry about the setup atm... not because i haven't decided i want to use, but just because i'm looking for layout ideas more so than the types of specific plants etc i want to grow...

Not to mention, as far as actual plant ideas go, i've already got a very reputable LFS to help me out with that part so not worried too much on that front... just trying to steal ideas from here there and every where to setup a nice aquascaped tank...

^ Perfect... thanks for the links... thats what i'm talking about...

As a side note to any one looking at this thread... as long as you personally find a tank inspirational please post it up... as i'm really just looking for some ideas so doesn't matter how crazy or simple the setup is as long as you find it inspirational...

Thanks...

^ thanks bro, that last tank makes me want to re-do my 200G

Came across a vid of a planted piranha tank I loved how thick and lush it looks. I'm on an iPad and hate trying to copy links but "rhom feeding time" will find it 1st vid

Not sure how to post a video or whatnot, but I guess a link alone works just as well.
It might not be your style (its iwugami or however you spell it) but I think even for a more chaotic and big plant tank it is good to know of some other styles. Personally, I love the plant he uses as a carpet, I've tried dwarf hairgrass and dwarf baby tears but I find them both to have small roots and both to be a pain to attempt to plant if you already filled up with water, but it seems like s. repens has large thick roots.

Thanks for the vids, i need to look up the rhom one, but the other one is sweet...

Also, trust me when i say i try to think outside the box with designs... So throw anything at me as it will all be honestly appreciated...

I just dont want to throw up the one piece that i think really fits what i want to do just yet as i dont want to effect the ideas coming in...

Not to mention i have no idea if i'll be able to find all the right materials to pull it off :)
