Thanks for all the Ideas for transporting water. By the time I read them I had already made four trips with this stuff. I may look into a tote from a paint co. later. It would be good for storage. Also "SteveR" I know they are a little daring for a gentleman like myself, but sometimes one must just toss caution to the wind. They are a little wild!

It was now time to fill the sump. I made two more water runs. I swear that water is evaporating faster that I can replenish it. I found a pinpoint water leak in the bottom corner. (See number 1 in the picture) I had to drain the sump for repairs. When the water was removed, I put a fan on it and went to visit the LFS. When I returned I put silicone on every seam the tank had and let it dry overnight.

Number 2 in the picture is my cat bed sheets that “SteveR” will no doubt point out.

Just awesome!

We decided to make the light board out of three quarter plywood covered with laminate. We went with something a little shorter than the tank to aid access later. The lights were staggered a little because of the overflows. We are planning to add the VHO to the board a little later.

Thank your buddy for noticing they were ungrounded ! And providing a remedy to the situation props to him ! Can't wait for more updates.

Thanks to all for the kind comments! Pat, Pat, Pat. Those are for mike to put on his head for noticing the lights were not grounded and wiring them properly. We had a lot of fun hanging the lights over the tank. It would have been a good u-tube video if there had been an extra person to record it.
