hi there i'm new.recently I have lost my oscar and although I may go back to another oscar i would be grateful for any other suggestions that i could put in with my 3 yellow scissortails,2 catfish and a handsome pleco!!
the tank is 4'x12"x18" approx holds approx 140 uk litres.
has an external eheim ecco filter system the tank temp is 79degrees.

thanks for the suggestions, what is a goldsaum? have had Jack Dempseys in the past and never managed to keep them very well,do you think that the set up I have is to small for an Oscar to go in? at the moment he is about 2" length the other fish in the tank are all over 2.5" length.:)
 
it sounds like a 55 us gal tank, and with the current stock I think there isnt enough room for a Oscar or a bigger cichlid...
 
what is a goldsaum?and also a parachronis loiselli? never heard of either please can you fill me in. Do you think that the set up I have is to small for a very young oscar to go in?
 
thank you was getting very confused-doesn't take much!!have seen a geophagus? who is quite cute. what do you think? or am i asking for trouble!!
