looking for pics of crappie in tanks

Crappies can get very large....majority around here are between 9-15"

wow thats a pretty big margain of error expecially when the fish is right in front of you. cant u narrow it down more then 8 inches:ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL:
 
Umm. I promise u it isn't 8".... It's a lil smaller than my 24" arowna.. I no longer have the crappie. sold it to a friend for his native tank.

16" and 24" is an 8" difference. You said he was between 16 and 24 inches.

I too was thinking that's a pretty big difference, lol
 
Like bluegill, there is a lot of variance between populations, little ones are touchy but once they get 5-6" they are pretty hardy.
