looking for pond prowling tropical fish

i just really like the sound of this project, its almost like the easiest dont diy project lol. i just need to find a very large liner and some filters. and i will have to get in touch with some good contractors too, but apparently houses with large tanks and things like that are the new trend, i suppose a shed would be no different.

joe, you know if redtail cats like to prowl by chance? id make an afternoon out of watching some 3 foot rtc and tsn's prowl the bottom of a pond, wouldnt you?

thanks alot for the help, really put the fine touches on this project, thank you.

When I first read this I was going to say NO WAY w/o a heater and heavy insulation. Your buddy might be on to something. If I am reading this correctly, his idea is to install a radiant floor heating system in the walls of the pond? That might be genius. You could build a room inside the the shed that is fully insulated and or heated. This could house the electric panel, heating sys. pump, food, supplies, etc. anything that might need a little protection. Def. sink the pond into the soil. This will lower the height to see fishies easier, and aid in temp. regulation. PM me where you live. I could help w/labor and construction materials (I work for a lumber yard that manufactures treated wood products) I also have a Diesel Toro Dingo for excavation.
