I have a ecotech marine and I love it. I know some people have trouble with them though. I havent had any issues with the pump and I do frequent water changes turning it on and off. It will blow things across the tank at full power

I use exclusively jebao pumps for my filters and sumps. Dcs and dcq series. Never had any trouble at all with my pumps. Never experienced any heating on the controllers.
They are cheap and reliable IMHO. I think i have paid like 50usd each for my dcs3000 and my two dcs2500 including shipping from china and about 85usd each for my three dcq10000 with shipping.

I think dcq was released late 2017 early 2018. There is a new model called dcw. Ive got to order one just to try that model out.

No problem man. I find it hard to to keep up with all new changes. But im more then happy with both dcs and dcq series.
Yup same for me and the dct. I bet its all the same crap. They must giggle every time they change that 3rd letter lmao.
I have 5 and literally beat the crap out of one of them.
Ive got 3 dcs and 3 dcq pumps. The dcq series got a sine wave function that dcs dont have. And with 10000L/h they can make some nice waves on a large reeftank i imagine.
