Posted some of my build. If you want to check it out its under diy plywood aquarium, 330 gallon aquarium my names rke come check it out

Nice build I am keeping an eye on it, was wondering what size drains you are going to run and how many, also what size pump. I am running 2 pondmaster 2400s throttled down. I was thinking I would need atleast two 1 /12" drains but if I can get away with just two 1" drains I would go that route

I have 2x 1.5" drains and 2x 1" inlets. I'm using a jebo, jecod dct-6000 pump from which I'm splitting the inlets into 2 sprayers of 1" to help circulate the tank.

I'm actually planning on running a moving bed filter so I don't need super high pumping. The 1500 gph average should do wonderful on my setup and filtering methods. I'm also setting up another wet dry filter with a pump underneath that one pumping back to the tank. Also have plans to setup another 56 gallon show tank filtering through this system as well. Reason being I'll be using it as a baby holder growout tank and or an quarentee tank once it's disconnected of course. But this will help keep my quarenteen tank cycled ready for whatever I need it for. I'm planning on using a separate 200gph pump jebo also to run that one into the big one when I have baby fish needing grow outs or ect. Ok done rambling lol

Yeah I was thinking I would need 2 1.5" drains, I think I'm running two 3/4" returns that's what the outlet size of my pumps will be I believe. Won't get then until later this week

Oh yeah 3/4 will be a good flow rate I went bigger with mine cause I'll be housing arowana and don't want a super heavy flow rate. The pump I have has a flow controller on it so I can do whatever I need to makes it a lot more simple then my old setups

we got alot in common, close to same size tank, housing an arowana and a moving bed filter. Are you going with K1? My arowana is close to 2 feet. It may be overkill but I have a spare room behind the tank so im running 3 55 gallon drums, first has 3 matala pads then #2 willm have 4 cubic feet of KI then to the pump/heater barrel which will be connected to my house drain to take care of my drip system

Very cool sounds like you have about the same build I do I have a mix of k1 and k3 and some cheaper stuff I ordered but all about the same idea tho. Have about 7 cubic feet of media in 2 separate 32 gallon rubber made garbage cans. And I have another for a wet dry system over the top of my pump running the water back up to the tank. I'll post videos on it later on my 330 gallon plywood aquarium build. Under the diy section of this site names rke if you want to follow it

How are you doing your drip system? Are you talking about an auto top off system or a drip? I'm confused about that in your post ? Says you'll have it connected to.your house drain for an auto water change or?
