Well I have a 150gal fish tank. It currently inhabits 3 fronts, 1 Neolamprologus helianthus, 1 Synodontist Eruptis and 2 peacocks (I plan to move or sell, I had a great peacock show tank but it got old after awhile). I want an all Tang tank but cant decide on what I really want to get for this tank. I have the fronts and I dont want any more really large fish so I want something that would be smaller then them that would get along with them. I would love to get smaller fish so that I can add more as opposed to having a lot of big fish but I dont want fish that will fight a lot. My current set up is doing really really well and my fish get along great, so I want to be carefull with what I add. Just thought I would get some ideas from people who have kept tangs and see what everyone here thinks!? I am just getting into tang cichlids and I am loving it. I have ideas on what I like but I ve never really kept a wide range so I thought I would ask for some opinions =]

I am not really worried about the fronts eating my helianthus, it can fit in their mouths and they completely ignore it, and its been in there for a good 7 months now. They actually seem to get a long pretty well. I also have many hiding spots/tunnels.

I have a friend that keeps calvus. A nice yellow calvus or a couple of them would be a nice addition. I don't know how big they get though. Maybe some of the tropheus species, the cherry spot is nice.

I have comps and calvus with mine... buffaloheads, but they are not tangs, maybe a larger gobies
that would be the best

Definitely get some calvus. I just got some. Love them!

lol I had calvus, they are cool but I dont want a typical tang tank I want something different. Gobies wouldnt be bad. Just in an idea phase.

yeah ventralis's

Featherfins and gobies would look awesome. Then, of course, I love my Cyprichromis so I'll throw that vote in there as well. Maybe some of the more unusual species...or Paracyprichromis?
