Looking for some one with experience in shipping larger dats...

Levi, that sounds like a good idea but Id first have to ship those boxes to Florida where the dats are coming from then back up to me. Ill see if he can find some boxes.

Bushfish, How do you seal the coolers to keep them from leaking? Everytime I transport fish in coolers in my car they leak like a *****!

these coolers wont leak, they have 4 interlocking lips on the tops.

Hmm now that sounds like it would be worth it!

Ive got to head up there to pick up the baby seat I left at repairs soon so maybe we can work something out so I can pick up the seat, those coolers, and possibly the jars!

I have access to coolers and cooler-sized bags. I also have oxygen. I'll put em in cardboard.

I think that should be okay as that is how they were shipped to me by wes.

PM The Trust.. he has had experiencing shipping large ( and i mean bigger than a foot ) datnoids and hes never had a problem with it. He has also shipped large Pbass and aros and who knows what else.

big tigers dont travel well

i have had one shipment myself from singapore 3 x 12inch tigers 1 was DOA

the same with someone else i know shipped 5 x 12inch 1 was DOA

if the shipping is not that long you triple bag them and put one fish per box you may be ok

They are only about 7" or so...I said larger because of all the 2" indos around. Shipping distance isnt nearly as far as singapore to the UK though!

They were all packed together in one box shipped to me and I think that will be the best way. Unless of course, you like 100 dollars in shipping fees!
