In this particular situation (relatively large 225 gal tank vs. the average 20-55 gal and relatively large fish (when adults) vs. the average 2"-6"), I'd say the rule of thumb of maximum of 1" of fish per gallon of water may apply, given "better-than-needed" filtration.
