As Toby said before the running cost are high with my old tank running 350g my whole house electric bill was £25 per week now with the new 1000g with heating the room and the whole house electrics it £50 per week
Food per month pellets £30 meal worms £14 prawns £8
It's not cheap byt worth every penny
I think I read the the tank was to high with the canopy is it not poss to remove the canopy and have a hanging light that's what I had to do it works and looks great
In my sump I have jap mat bio balls eheim mech and substrate pro
I also have about 50 liters of K1 that stuff is great as others have said
Mine is now 1year old and so far so good
