Killifish are also a really appealing option but I wouldn't know where to get my hands on any. The lfs fellow reccomended a website but this was a while ago and I had planned on getting it from him again hehe.

tetras? I know rummy-nose tetras are a great hit. also snails, breed them and sell them as feeders.

The snails Ive got going in a few tanks already :P Looking for something more interesting though, not just something saleable.

I've heard that some synodontis catfish will breed in captivity. This has been done in tanks with 15+ catfish in them, and I would imagine that you couldn't keep them in there after they lay eggs, so you would have to spend hours trying to catch them all if you wanted to raise the babies. If you want something easier, apple snails are great breeders. Corydoras breed somewhat easily. If you want something bigger 10-12 inches, silver needle-nose gar have bred in captivity.

The celebes halfbeak. I was reading an article bout them! In the february 2008 edition of AFI, they sound easier tthan some of the large scale ones! 6 of them in a 20L 14 days after the female is pregnent put it into a 5gal or so heavily planted with water sprite or watever and she will give birth to live fry!

I was gonna try it but decided to go against it for it might be hard to find them! and i decided angels instead in a 29
