Looking for suggestions

I'm thinking some big background plants are indeed what it needs most... but what species? My lighting is medium or low. Fake plants are always obviously fake, even in pictures.

Ive seen some very expansive nice fake plants at my LFS before..its all a matter of opinion i guess...
 
Hmm, well, I removed some of the big rocks. There are no more rock caves. The bichirs display themselves more. I added a reedfish which swims a lot and is cool. I'm growing out some congo tetras which I'm hoping will get big enough that they won't get eaten. I have another, bigger, mopani wood soaking.

I'm thinking I'll avoid adding more large rock, and go for additional driftwood instead.

I need to find low light plants that get tall and would reach the top of my tank. There's only 64w of t8 fluorescent above it, approximately 1 watt/gallon. I'd prefer they match an african biotope but really I don't care that much. Suggestions?
