Looking for The most quiet canister filter

The low price range I would say Aquatop filters.I had one didn't care for it much but if your on a buget go for it.
yes you can if you have an open stand with no doors. When I had the marineland c360 I could hear the motor humming. I got rid of it within a week.Can anyone name me one canister that is noisy? I can't do it. If your intake and return lines are under the water, you can't hear a thing on any of the Fluval, Rena, Eheims etc. From what I have experienced.

I've got a Fluval 305 and i have to check all the time to see if its even running thats how quiet it is.
I have eheim classics that hum too. 2217s about 2 years old. in my bedroom everyone said they were quite yet it seems the fx5 is the only one I cant hear. sometimes it makes like a water fall sound but no humming! Normally I say eheims are the best in terms of sound but seems the fx5 is silent and the eheims have started to produce noise!

I will give it a shot with Eheim 2217.
