I currently have a 210g but will be moving and have ordered a 300g (96x24x30). I have a delhezi (9") and a weekseii (13") and they get along pretty well. I do foresee some possible future issues if the del does not put on some more size. It seems to be stuck at 9" and I think it is full grown at this point. In the 210g I also have a rhino pleco and hoplo cat that do okay with the bichir but some aggression is shown by the rhino over territory.
So here is the deal, I want at least one more bichir. I was thinking one of the bigger types, specifically a Koliba or maybe an ornate. I would also appreciate any other suggested bichir that would work out well with the ones in the tank already. I picked the weeksii because I had read that they got along with most others quite well. The rhino pleco and hoplo may have to get rehomed so dont be afraid to recommend anything. Not a big fan of endli, dont like the head shape, but I do like the laps....
