The TSN will very quickly outgrow the Bichir.
Have you seen what TSN's can devour?
That's why (IMO) they are best kept in ponds, away from smaller fish.
 
thanks guys i'm sure u guys are right and speak from experience. i will look into other options as tank mates. any suggestions??
