looking for tips on catching baby fish

cheap, and it depends what size
it will most likely be over the summer though, my summer house is in south west NH, if ya want to swing by i will try and see what i can grab for you

baby gar atleast here are easily caught in the months of july and agust when the rivers are down. just net the little pools that are created when the river is down. or use a siene to net shallow channels that the rivers put off each time i do that i usualy catch at least 1 or 2 baby gar both short and long nose ranging 2 inches to 5 inches. im sure you can net in your state as long as the fish arent game fish. if you catch game fish your suppose to realease em right away
