looking for titanium!

So yet again a ceramic impellor shaft has broken at a most inoppurtune time. I have been thinking abotu converting all my shafts to titanium for some time now. has anyone tried this? how has it worked out? and if so where did you get the supplies?

You likely will find the hardness of titanium to be less than ideal. If you choose this route be sure top check for wear on regular intervals and stretch out the inspection intervals if you see no wear.

Check welding supply shops for titanium welding rod. You will most likely want to polish them but they are cheap.
