Anyone can breed pitbulls in that sense. You still have a lot to learn my friend and judging by those replies you won't be around long.

yooo! lmao u make me smile when you act like that. I wont be around long? on what this blog? how? why does everyone act so snide. im getting tired of posting threads and having everyone be rude to eachother and argue over petty stuff because they have to act like the messiah of fishkeeping and everyone else is wrong to them.i like how about 70 percent of people on here run beautiful tanks with great success yet if one persons advice is good they have to proclaim everyone elses trash some people r just too serious and no a pit is not a pit real dogmen breed real dogs.

I was actually trying to help you cause obviously you have no idea what true stalsbergi are.

just saying its a lot easier to breed pits then it is to breed sensitive wild caught fish, I agree with what your getting at though I'm sure there are others then rapps. w/ breeding pits its all about lineage, and finding ones you know aren't inbred and aren't aggressive. If you take 20 mins of research you can tell purebred pits from mixes and undesirable breeding stock. Fish are a lot more subtle and sensitive, and take longer to figure out. My cousin breeds true blue pits, beautiful dogs and I help him out with some of the routines and usually take care of them when he's on vacation. He's not the smartest guy and he's managed to do it for about 5 years haha

I've got a pair of True Green Terror aka Andinocara Stalsbergi. I searched for my pair for more then 4 months. Searched every dealer, breeder, lfs and anyone I knew would have them. Guess who the only person in the USA that had them? Rapps. EVERYONE sent me to Jeff. He is and has been one of the only to really ever import or breed them. These fish are that uncommon. And yes they are quite special. They grow slow and are about 2". Mine are currently about 2.5" maybe bigger. Very attractive and very aggressive to other fish. Not a fish meant for a community. And $70 is cheap. I paid right at $100 for my pair shipped. Bigger stalsbergi will cost even more. I know you think its just a fish. But some fish are more specific and special. Much harder to obtain. This fish is one of those. Its not a belly button fish that everyone has. Its different then any saum. If you want the real deal you pay the price. Just like difference between a captive breed jag and a true blue Nicaragua wild caught jag. One can be found anywhere and most look similar. But the true wild blue Nicaragua is unique and much different better genetics most likely. They fetch much more $$$.

I've had my rapps f1 stalsbergi now for a few months. Only grown about an inch maybe ....slow growers but beautiful.

Curious why so fired up about true gt and not just a saum?

I know why I had to have the original. ..

my friend , look up what the true game pitbull is about(the only pitbull of the purest blood) and be enlightened. by telling me blue pits are pits you've already made a mistake. there is NO such thing as a blue pitbull. it is nothing but a mere hybrid bred for color and looks exactly what the real pitbull wasn't bred for.and
once you get the hang of caring for fish a 9 year old could do it. so many people breed fish its unreal. once I learn from one person I teach a hundred others in turn they teach another hundred its the way it works (I work at a aquarium store and I teach dozens of people each day how to properly care for there fish) its not rocket science. the rules are always the same
