Looking for zebra pleco's

I am looking for Zebra Plecos too, But I don't see any in my tank!
 
When did these prices go up so much? I remember when i first saw them years back, they were going for 80 bucks.

Is this the result of the internet?
 
There are fake zebras out there that look a little similar so be careful, or you will pay a lot for an otherwise cheap fish that only resembles an L46 , until you look closely and realize YOU'VE BEEN HAD!

Now that I've had some time to cool off I think you guys might be right. If he's buying them (he said he was) from someone, how could he get them that cheap? Looks like someone is about to get ripped off. Thanks for saving me over $500 bucks! :clap

hah im not a newb or anything. i know you can never find them that cheap, but if that was the case, id have bought tons. not to resell neccesarily, but i work at a pet store and theres a lot of guys who look for them and itd make their days. personally, id try my hand at breeding them and just enjoying them in genereal.
