It doesn't look good for my little Silver. As some of you know he jumped the other day and I found him dried up. The first night he came back and was breathing and swimming slightly. Yesterday was a little better. He was swimming freely and resting alot. I wake up this morning to him head up in the tank. Just sitting there with his little mouth ever so slightly moving. It's sad to say but I don't think he is going to make it. His fins are torn, he's got wounds on his back from the Jaguar that attacked him before he jumped. It looks as if the wounds are starting to get fuzzy which makes me think that he isn't going to make it. There's not much more I can do:(
I'd hate to put him out of his misery, but I'm not sure how much longer I can watch him struggle.
What would you guys do in this situation?? I could take some pictures of him if you would like to see.

i AM VERY SAD FOR YOU AND THE LITTLE GUY.. is he in a hospital tank with salt added etc.. sorry i did not hear about him before.. wish you the best.

He hasn't been able to eat since he jumped, yes heat is up! I'm just gonna hope for the best. I've done all I can.

im not a big fan of meds but you could try some maybe.

Well it's final. I came home at 5 after work to see my little guy sideways, no gill movement, no mouth movement. I pronounced him dead at 5:10 and gave him a proper flush. Sad to see this little guy go. Upon further inspection he was missing all his scales from the middle of his body to his tail. The Jaguar must have had him pretty far down.
Off to the LFS' to check out the Aro stock!
Might pick up a Jardini this time, but I just love the longer fins on the Silvers/Blacks.

Thanks to everyone who helped me during this!!
