Our government should have placed the ban themselves, it isn't like there is a shortage of kiids needing families in America.
Yes,excellent point.I have always wondered about people having to go way abroad in order to adopt children.

I think it's more of a status thing than anything else. Perfect example is Angelina and Brad. Congratulations on adopting a baby from every continent except the one that made you as wealthy as you are. Ugh. Now i'm mad.

I still think you should adopt within your own country first, regardless of the process. If you get declined here, then go elsewhere. Just my opinion. Not trying to start a debate.
