Looking to do a SA 75 Gal

I like the new look, that size tank would be a good grow out tank for young Acarichthys, but in the end, it'd be a bit cramped, might last 2 years in there. Mine killed each other in a 150 gal as 3 year old adults (although maybe albinos have that natural instinct need for space washed out?) . That 220 you had when you lived on the WI/IL border would be the perfect tank for Acarichthys.

I sold the 220 to Sawboy before I left. Of course, Wife said, "I wish you kept that one"! I am going today to pick up a 10 pack of Redline Moenkhausia Tetras (Moenkhausia Agnesae) to be my upper mid column. (Cichlid are last to add) Based on your experience I thought 1 of the albinos would be good with the guinacara (Read your old post on your experience with them) but listening to mrrobxc that sounds like a no go.

I’m glad you’re getting the Agnesae. I was going to get a group as well but the rhodsia Altipinna came up and I couldn’t pass those up.

They are lookers for sure, even waiting for their full color to pop.

I have decided that the Heckeli are way too good to pass up, so right now, with my dithers, I'm going to get just 1 and make it the centerpiece...

Nice! I was Chicago Subs for my whole life until family moved here! Only go back for friends and family....
