I currently have two ac 70 formerly ac 300 and is stocking a gt, fm, and a jd all about 2 inches. I was trying to change the filteration just to do one. Up for any suggestions and what would be the best option. Unless what I have is the best I can do.

A single ac110 would move a good bit of water, but honestly the ones you have should be suffient. Are you unhappy w your current setup for some reason?

I think having the two AC70s is actually better than the one AC110, because if one filter fails the other one is still able to keep the tank clean.

Two is always better than one.

Have you considered running a canister filter? If so I would use a Fx5 it'll provide 10x + turnover

I have an FX5 on my 55 but only because I had an extra one. It's overkill really (if that exists). You would be fine with something like a Fluval 405 or even a 305.

I use one of the Sunsun (or rather Aquatop) filters and I'm surprisingly happy with it. Got the CF400 for my 55 gallon. I really like the fact that its got the built in UV light. I also move the water with an Aquatop IPF-305 internal filter. Thus far, the water remains crystal clear.

Don't get me wrong the two ac 70 do the job real good but I wanted a cleaner look in my tank and have one intake tube instead of two but that can do what my two ac do. And be able to have the tank sit closer to the wall. I'm gonna look into the sun canister. I had my eyes on the fluval 406 or the ml c530. Anybody had experience with the two I mentioned? And for the fluval fx5 it's massive and be mega overkill lol maybe if I had African cichlids
