Looking to get my first piranha

Just alot of hiding places, background on the tank, put the tank in a high traffic area so it gets used to people easier.

Juvies probably considered up to 7" I'd say. There wont be much difference, plus they grow pretty fast up to 6" anyway

I guess I'll go with a 3-4" one then, they cost less and I get to watch it grow. I'll be sure to provide lots of hiding places.

I emailed all the vendors today to find out shipping quotes, just waiting to hear back from them. I need to clear out the last few fish in the tank, then I can order my piranha. I think I've decided on a ruby red spilo or a purple sancehzi, depending on who I end up ordering from.

for RRS they max out at around 9" I believe so 7" I would consider them adult. 3-4" would be a good size and you get to enjoy watching it grow.

Thanks everyone, a ruby red spilo is definitely my first choice. Can't wait to get the rest of the fish out of the tank and place an order with one of the vendors!
