I called one of the local glass shops here and told him what I was doing, Let him know the approx gallon size of tank that I am looking to build and gave him the measurements of the glass that I wanted cut.....1/2 to 3/4 thick sheets depending on the tank
Tank size will be between 80X24X30 to 80X30X30 maybe even 40 tall but have not yet decided.
He said there is no way that i should need glass that thick and said I should go with 1/4 think or maybe 3/8 thick.
