looks like a peacock , but isnt

When I first got it it had a faint blue blaze on its face, like the normal alhis having yellow. There is a small chance the female would have been a peacock but im pretty sure it wasnt. The male was definitly an alhi and they were the only two fish in the tank. Also there were about five total that looked like the one I have, the rest looked just like normal alhis. We bought the whole batch off of him.

maybe they werent pure alhis then, but I definilty dont htink its a strawberry peacock . . . .

I have never seen fryeri's have yellow on their face, are you thinking of otopharynx lithobates?

when i got mine he looked like yours,but know he looks sweet and i dont care if it is a hybrid....

that is a pretty sweet looking cichlid even if it is a hybrid I have never seen an ahli strawberry either so I guess it's rare...
