Looks like I caught me a scammer on craiglist!!!

I just called my buddy who is a lawyer and he said as long as I send him the rims or give them to the courier and document that they are in the condition stated in the advertisement and that they have been shipped and delivered I am 100% in compliance with the laws and it is not illegal in any way. If this guy is dumb enough to send me the money and then try to pull some stuff after I have sent all the evidence to paypal to show I did my part I will throw a party!! thanks bro, you just spent $16500 for a set of rims that is worth $2000, you just paid off my car and all my credit cards and bought me a *****in monster tank !!!...hahahaha God I love stupid people Keeping my fingers crossed...lol

I wouldn't be getting too excited just yet lol :grinno:. I doubt he is as stupid as you think; but then again I could be wrong.
 
Well he now has your first and last name and your email address. Just don't link in any emails from paypal asking you to update your account.

Actually that email address that I am using I made specifically to sell the rims on craigslist and I am emailing him through there so even though it shows up in the emails I get all he sees is the one from craigslist. He has no information about me except my first name, I'm not as dumb as you may think, Thanks for lookin our for me though your the bestist!!...lol :thumbsup:
 
He's a superslueth hacker man!
See, I know this, cause my cousins girlfriends brother knew a guy who said his buddy was a CL scammer, and he'd trace an email account back to the users home computer, and then the government would fly over your house in black helicopters because of the virus the hacker planted, making YOU look like the scammer.

ITS TRUE MAN!!! I also read about it on the internet!

I'll show you proof right here on monster fi..... wait my hat fell off...... AW DANG! now the tin foils all bent up!

I very seriously doubt the scum has even enough money to buy the rims, much less 16Gs.
He's probably just looking to hack your paypall account somehow.

I really wish there was a way to find those SOBs.
