Well, I didn't get to see any of the first half, and only a little of the second. So not much to say except ouch. LA came to play, but I don't see 29% shooting coming from Orlando again. The time I watched, Orlando was working as many wide open looks off Howard as they wanted, but they just shot like crap. I've never seen such terrible shooting. I'm saying first game finals jitters. LA's been there, they're comfortable. We'll see how Orlando responds, but I'm guessing very well.

Hey, it is what it is. Anybody in the league that told you otherwise is a liar. I think he's done very well, played great defense on some of the best in the league this postseason. But when the greats are feeling it they can shoot over anyone. All you can do is get a hand in their face.

whats up bro, havent seen you on here in a while.......im glad youre back:)
well it may seem orlando had jitters, but they were doing great in the first quarter until D.howard got hit wih 2 personals... after that lakers took advantage... also played very good scrambled defense, result :magic were confused! d. howard was being coverd by all the lakers biggs in the post which made him alter his shots!! 29% from the field was created by what i had mentioned above... but could be wrong:grinno:....
definitly the magic are not going to be in a slump, the next game, but if the lakers played exactly the way they did yesturday... magic will have the same outcome when shaq was playing with ORLANDO against the DREAM.... (hakeem olajuwan, HOUSTON ROCKETS)
RESULT: LAKERS TAKE OUT THEIR BROOMSTICKS:D

Thanks, man. My two month old keeps me busy, so I'm hit or miss on here right now lol. If Howard gets in quick foul trouble, they're going to be hurting. As big as Orlando is, it only helps them on the perimeter without Howard, and not inside, especially against a lengthy team like LA. As confident as I am in Orlando, I know it won't be easy, and as good as this looks for LA, it could actually be bad for them. I base this on Orlando and their style. Go up big, give up the lead, go down huge, come back and win. Now they should have the weight of expectation lifted, and should play more freely. Sunday is too far away........

very true bro... they are known to come back from big deficits........
i do believe lakers defined how the series is going to be played out though... or shall i say kobe did:D
i mean if it were the first or secound round of the playoffs then fine... adjust and play better next game... which i know they will still do!! but this is for all the marbles and on worldwide T.V... right? bright lights, center stage, not to mention the JOHN O`BRIEN TROPHY!!! shouldn't all teams absorb whats @ stake and be READY??? but hey i know dwight's definitly going to insert himself in the paint in game 2, but the only worry is for orlando... is rashard going to show up with differnt looks that the LAKERS are throwing @ him:)..
and is turkoglu( dont know spelling of name :)) gonna man up and play real ball and stop hoping for hail marys shooting the ball thinking if he gets contact or forces contact on the perimeter the refs are going to call it?:screwy::grinno:
and can dwight handle 3 biggs @ the same time?
the refs have been seriously critisized for all the recinded flagrants, so i really think this series is going to be BUMP and GRIND, throwback STYLE..
and the LAKERS have more of the physical game than ORLANDO.. which i find really funny cuz other teams in the west say the LAKERS are STILL SOFT like last year.......... the TABLES have TURNED:naughty:

and yes, i wish GAME 2 WERE TOMMOROW:(........

game 2 is a must watch game!!!! it is going to be very serious, i wont be surprized if i see a big tussle between these two teams:popcorn:

Fact is Kobe doesnt have to guard anybody in this series ala chauncey or melo, proof is in the pudding 1 foul the whole game..he can have more energy on the offensive end..so expect the torch to burn longer

Magic on Sunday for sure.

Agree completely. Turkoglu really pisses me off sometimes with that crap. He thinks every shot is going to be "the big one", and will throw it up from anywhere. Don't get me wrong, he can hit them, but 1 good game out of 10 as he has been lately isn't helping them. And Rashard HAS to step up and take pressure off Howard. One of the best 3 shooters in the league, needs to shoot like it in the big series. And yeah, minus Howard, weak front court. All three of them are 6'10", and only one knows how to throw the ball down.....sad. I want to see more dunks from those two, not woopty-doo flips over the rim.

True. There is no real match fro him at that position, so he's going to be a difference maker (haha, like he's not already :grinno:)
