I am sorry for your loss. I am on the otherside of the world from my puppy and miss him dearly its been 6 months since ive seen him in person and it will be another 6 before i can see him. Losing a animal and friend is never easy. I hope you found your peace.

Sorry to hear this. A few years ago my family lost our dog. He was a akita x German Shepard I believe. He was the best dog. My parents live on a highway and meeko never left our yard. Apparently the miserable old man across the road was upset about some dogs in the area so he purposely called our dog across the highway while cars were coming. Since, my family has got a chocolate lab (Kayla) and she is an angel. Last summer the family next to ours lost their 8 year old dog who also never left the yard. After 9 months of looking, they heard through the grape vine that the old man across the road took the dog from their property and drove it to a shelter over an hour away so they wouldn't be able to find it. This old man needs to be in jail or a coffin. I am now moved out and my gf and I have an awesome Bernese mountain dog (Jackson) if I ever hear of this old man doing anything like this again, I'm going to go see him. I'll post pictures of meeko,Kayla and Jackson when I get home from work. R.I.P snoopy

Thanks guys it means a lot, losing this dog has been THE hardest thing in my life, up until the other day it all felt like some weird horrible dream and at any moment i was going to wake up to see her next to me like she always was
I can honestly say that she was my best friend and the friendship from a dog is like no other, they never stop loving you no matter what
I have some words of advice to any dog owners, PLEASE never get mad at your dog, even if they eat your t bone steak do not get mad at them, they never get mad at you and god forbid your pup gets in an accident like mine, also every time you leave your dog alone say goodbye and tell them how much you love them. That was the thing that bothered me the most, I cant remember if I had said goodbye to her before I left for work and that has shaken me up quite a bit
thank you and please do not take your dog for granted and love them every day you never realize how much you desperately love something until they are gone
RIP baby, i miss you

that right there..looks like a very happy dog.
Don't beat your self up over not telling her goodbye or that you love her. She knew it they always know it.
That's the best part, they knew when you are sad..they know that you love them even if you don't say it every day...try to think of the good times you had with her and don't dwell on things you cant change.

morn her, honor her life and the love she gave you, and the love you gave her.
A dogs love is like no others.

sorry for your loss....

Ive been thinking of getting a tat of her next year or so, Ive always wanted a tattoo but never had a good reason for it, I think this is one that will bring back good memories of the pup that was my best friend for so long

I also may be adopting an american bully/ bullmastiff pup if things go as planned
