Thanks for the offer and help our estimated closer date is end of March. I have to stay on until I am released if I want to receive a severance package. Contractors came in last week and already started removing equipment my company has been in this building for 30 years and the name brand just celebrated 100 years this year.

I personally went through what you are facing in 2008. Worked for a manufacturer who made parts for the big 3 automotive companies. I also stayed until I received my severance package. I've been working for 11 years now for another manufacturer.

The company I work for was founded and started in 1921 by two brother's in California. It was moved to Kentucky in the early 90's but has always remained American made and run up until about 4 years ago when a company out of Europe bought us. This year we celebrated 100 years in business and our product being sold world wide. That celebration lasted a few months now we are being shut down half of product is being moved to facility's in Europe and what remains is being absorbed into another facility in Pennsylvania. Not trying to point fingers or get into politics just stating what is happening with our company.
