Loss

How did the fish die? I do waterchanges straight out the hose my tank temperature after a waterchange is sub 50 and it'll take about 3-5 hours to warm it back up. I've never lost a fish in over 10 years. I keep sensitive fishes ie Discus and stingrays
Yeah, I'm surprised they died from it too, I've dropped my tank not quite that far during a water, maybe to 70-72 and they didn't even seem to notice.

Sorry to hear this. The weeksii and polli must’ve been really hard to bear - we are here for ya
Thank you. Little disappointing for sure.

Yeah, those have to be some tough loses. But as you said at least the little one didnt get shocked or hurt. And you didnt lose any of the other fish. Now he can be taught from this experience that the fishies arent really something we can play around with.

I also find it strange that it was enough to kill the polys. it kind of concerns me because i know my polys have been through similar temperature drops, Maybe not as fast though, and i didnt lose any. Maybe the ones we have just have weaker genetics or maybe theyre just so used to the good conditions that when something did go wrong they werent ready for it.

Anyway, I hope all the fish make a full recovery!

Ah man this just sucks. Regardless of how they died....they died. Sometimes this hobby can be utterly brutal.

Sorry this happened brother
