Well iv been busy the past few weeks trying to get my car done and ready for a race next week so I haven’t really paid much attention to my tanks. last night I’m sitting there feeding the fish in the big tank and happen to notice my fire eel was missing I look all over the place and find nothing. I happened to notice that one of the overflow pipes was not working at all and seemed to be clogged so I decided to to take it apart today to see if it was him and found this. I really hope I can find another one his size or bigger I really liked him.

Dang. I'm sorry for your loss man. That was a big boy. I know theres a fire eel thats pretty thick, not sure on size, but over a foot for sure, here at a store. If only you lived closer.

Thanks, I may have found one not as big but close to it i think they said its like 14-15".

Lesson learned: If you think it's too small for one of your fish to swim through or jump through, it's not. Lost so many fish thinking they'd never fit into the drain or be able to jump out through that little slit.

Sorry for your loss. :(
