lesson learned today is - if you start loosing your fry and have a filter on the tank check that the intake is still covered if not turn the filter off and if you are lucky(we where) you will find them in the filter, we had 200 odd in the filter who are now safley in a tank with a more suitable air flow filter

very thankful that they did and they are now safley tucked away in a 4foot tank with air fed undergravel filter with a sand substrate over gravel so they are safe but gutted i lost some of the little ones sort of feel guilty about it in a strange way
you saved the stronger 1's its nature dont blame your self you saved the magoratory, i lost 3 of my 4 Thorichthys ellioti i was compleate gutted as i ordered them in and they got killed by ick but the one survied was the biggest and hes still going strong and hes about 1" now
