Lost more fish......

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sorry man, wish I could help more. Something I've seen work pretty well when you just don't know exactly what's going on is Seachem Paraguard, it treats a pretty wide variety of diseases, isn't too expensive, and is pretty gentle.

I actually have some when I ordered most of their disease meds.

I wouldnt call paraguard gentle. If used in tanks it will kill off your filter. it killed off my filter with one dose

Two days and no lost fish. Amazing how quiet it is with the pumps off. Water is clearer as well without all the microbubbles. I will be selling the pumps and stones. Sucks because I just got a new pump and 2 new stones for the 265 but not going to use them now.

dont think its o2 saturation unless you were pumping o2 into the water or had an ozone generator, with aeration you are gassing o2, co2 and NO, basically air, not just one type of gas. i think you should turn your bubble disc back on so your fish dont suffocate.

I'm no disease expert but is it possible a strain of bacteria got into your tank and is causing all of these other symptoms? Stressed out individuals would probably be affected first. That would be where I'd start looking.

Another thing is what are you doing different with this tank that you don't do to the others? Do they all eat the same food? Same water? This may be things you've thought of, I'm just trouble shooting.
