Did you find out why? I am wondering how he die. Why is his belly swollen? Sorry to hear about it but don't quit. Get another and make new memories.
i don't really know why i mean i've read on some other threads of aro's eating sharp parts on shrimps and having the sharp parts rupture the stomach and that being the cause but i had shrimp without head or tail.....don't know why just noticed that his belly was huge for not eating in two days......maybe the shrimp i bought was a little old or something but i feed it to all my fishes and all are well.....don't know

Maybe your arow had other problems .. there are really quite a few things that could have went wrong for him.. even over eating for him.. not that you fed him too much.. but he could have digestive deformity .. not every fish is put together right.. please do get another.. i hope someday..
