Sorry for the lost I love my GT he is about the size of yours.

And you are somewhat right but it gives me a place to keep the pics and his nuchal hump was never this big, nor was he so thick and large in the front half of his body. He must have been trying to show dominance in a fight with my O. His eyes were also black before.
 
Btw, he's in my freezer as we speak, should I just put him in the dumpster when the trash comes or is it worth preserving him some way?

I think that's for you to decide. Some people do preserve their deceased fish. If it meant that much to you, do it. Personally, I don't think I would ever preserve any of my pets. I have plenty of photos though.

I doubt I will either, I think I'll find a place where I can bury him and let nature and earthworms do the work.
